System of Care Behavioral Health Initiative

System of Care (SOC) is a national initiative under the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration with a focus on improving behavioral health outcomes for children and their families.

Blair County SOC is a new initiative with a goal of uniting youth, families, providers, and system partners to create an environment where youth and family voice is at the center of our work and all systems can partner to improve services and supports across the county.

Youth and young adults play an important role in System of Care efforts.  We are dedicated to creating an equal partnership with our youth and to include the youth voice in our work.  How will your voice influence SOC and what is in it for you?

Blair County System of Care is dedicated to creating an equal partnership with families and to include your voice in our work.  We hope to learn from families who have experience supporting youth who have been involved in any child-serving system.

The County Leadership Team (CLT) is a decision-making board inclusive of family members, youth, and community and system partners. The CLT is a collaborative process where leaders will discuss and influence policy, funding, training, and enhancing the services and supports in Blair County.

Blair County Partnership Memorandum of Understanding

County Leadership Meetings will be held on a monthly or bi-monthly basis as determined by the needs of the group. We welcome new youth, young adult, and family representation.
